Phantom Blade Zero Launches Exclusively on PS5 & PC in September 2026, Timed Exclusivity Lasts a Year

During the latest The Game Awards, Sony announced that Phantom Blade Zero, one of the most anticipated games of 2026, will launch on September 9, 2026, as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 5 and PC, with the exclusivity lasting a year. Developed by Chinese studio Sgame, Phantom Blade Zero will become available on other platforms after this period concludes. While Sgame has not commented, PlayStation’s announcement alongside the game’s latest trailer specified a one-year timed exclusivity for PC and PS5. The possibility of Phantom Blade Zero being released for Xbox Series X/S or Nintendo Switch remains open. Sgame has not announced plans for these platforms, and likely will not until the agreement with Sony concludes. If the game appears on rival consoles, those versions will not be available until after September 9, 2027, once the exclusivity window ends.
