Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, a new mobile fighting game from Square Enix and NHN PlayArt, launches on March 24. This 3v3 team boss battle arena game challenges players to collect crystals to earn Bravery points. Players can choose from Melee, Ranged, Agile, and Support character roles. The developers designed the controls for easy, one-handed mobile play. The game’s story unfolds in modern-day Tokyo after a massive crystal is corrupted by dark energy, causing monsters called Aggressions to swarm the city. During battles, warriors communicate via group chat on their mobile phones. In addition to a wide array of characters from across the Final Fantasy series, Firion (Final Fantasy II), Onion Knight (Final Fantasy III), Rikku (Final Fantasy X), Iroha (Final Fantasy XI), Balthier (Final Fantasy XII), and Clive Rosfield (Final Fantasy XVI) are among the latest additions to the roster. Players can also customize characters with their chosen abilities. The game was first unveiled in February 2025, followed by a closed beta test in November 2025.
