Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.65 – New Cars, Tracks, & Enhancements Arrive Dec 4, 2025

Polyphony Digital has released the launch trailer for Gran Turismo 7’s Spec III update, scheduled for release on Thursday, December 4, 2025. This update, version 1.65, introduces eight new cars, two new tracks, and a variety of enhancements, including Dunlop tires, data recording, weekly challenges, improved Cafe missions, and a higher collector level limit. The game’s opening film will also be updated. The eight new cars represent a diverse mix, from an Italian compact classic to modern supercars, a GT racer, a tuned cult favorite, and an original Formula car. The new lineup includes: Ferrari 296 GT3 ’23 Ferrari 296 GTB ’22 Fiat Panda 30 CL ’85 Gran Turismo F3500B Mine’s BNR34 GTR N1 Base Mitsubishi FTO GP Version ’97 Polestar 5 Performance ’26 Renault Espace F1 ’95 Two new tracks are also being added:

New Races at Yas Marina Circuit & Circuit Gilles Villeneuve – Dunlop Tires and Power Pack DLC Update

Yas Marina Circuit: Located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on Yas Island in the Persian Gulf. This modern circuit stretches 5.281 km with an 11-meter elevation change and features 16 turns, including a 1,233-meter straightaway. Situated near a marina, hotels, and theme parks, Yas Marina Circuit is known for its blend of long straights and technical sections, and it is one of the few tracks that hosts races into the evening. Circuit Gilles Villeneuve: This 4.361-km track in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, was established in 1978 as a memorial to Formula 1 racer Gilles Villeneuve. It incorporates a 5-meter elevation change, 14 turns, and a 1,173-meter straight. The track’s final chicane leads to the Wall of Champions, named after the three F1 champions who crashed there during the 1999 Canadian Grand Prix. Following the update, Dunlop tires will be available on most tuning shop cars and special vehicles; some exceptions will apply. The Power Pack DLC pavilion, exclusive to the PS5, will appear on the world map after completing Menu #9: Tokyo Highway Parade. This DLC provides a realistic racing experience with 50 races across 20 categories, including practice, qualifying, and final races.

Expanded Collector Level Cap to 70 with Brand Central Invites & Global Circuit Events in Gran Turismo 7 Update

The collector level cap is being increased from 50 to 70. Once players surpass level 50, they will receive unlimited invites for use in Brand Central. New events are also being added to global circuits: Copa dos Amadores Europeia, 400 Goodwood Motor Circuit Japanese Challenge Blue Moon Bay Speedway – Circuit Copa Nissan GTR Circuit Gilles Villeneuve Desafio do Circuito Ferrari Yas Marina Circuit World Touring Car 800 Yas Marina Circuit Super Formula Circuit Gilles Villeneuve Gr.1 Prototype Series Yas Marina Circuit Copa Nissan GTR World Touring Car 800 World Touring Car 800 The update enhances weekly challenges with Mission Challenge and Time Trial events, which will become available after viewing the end credits. These limited-time events will run alongside Special Race events. The new Data Logging feature allows players to review racing lines, acceleration and braking data, engine speed, and RPM. This can be done in real time by loading data from previous attempts or replays in modes like Time Trial, License Center, and Circuit Experience.

Expanded Gran Turismo 7 Spec III with Seasonal Menus, New Car Collections, and Enhanced Locations

A seasonal menu is being added to the Cafe post-game, where players can collect different cars each season to unlock additional rewards. Four new menus are being added to Extra Menus: Collectors Set: Alfa Romeo Legends (requires Collector Level 70) Legendary Street Racing Cars (Level 66) Audi TT (Level 52) Mazda (Level 57) Scapes will feature new locations, Yas Marina Circuit and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
