Pearl Abyss has released official performance specifications for Crimson Desert across PC, consoles, and Mac. The open-world action-adventure game is scheduled for a world launch on March 19. Beyond PlayStation and Xbox, Pearl Abyss is also evaluating support for handheld devices like the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X. Tests show the base ROG Ally can achieve 40 FPS at 720p with FSR 3 Frame Generation enabled, under Turbo Mode and connected to a power source. The ROG Ally X offers the following performance profiles: Performance Mode: Upscales from 720p to 1080p at 60 FPS. Balanced Mode: Upscales to 1080p at 40 FPS. Quality Mode: 1080p at 30 FPS. The console version includes several as-yet-unspecified graphics options. The PC version of Crimson Desert will offer five performance tiers, all requiring DirectX 12. A system with a GPU equivalent to a GTX 1060 should be sufficient for running the game on lower settings. Pearl Abyss aims for a smooth 4K experience at 60 FPS on high-end PCs and plans to incorporate ray tracing on modern consoles.

Crimson Desert's Storage Requirement and Potential Post-Launch Expansion on Pywel

The game, set on the continent of Pywel, will require 150 GB of storage space. Pearl Abyss notes that this requirement may increase after launch due to planned content updates.
