Ingrid, a mysterious and stylish character from the Street Fighter universe, is set to join Street Fighter 6 on May 28th, marking the conclusion of Season 3. While Ingrid may not be as widely recognized as other Street Fighter veterans, she has a history with the franchise, notably appearing in Capcom Fighting Jam (2004) and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (2006). Her combat style in Street Fighter 6 is described as airy and energetic, featuring a prominent Magical Girl aesthetic. Ingrid's gameplay emphasizes teleportation, luminous projectiles, and complex air combos. She utilizes a variety of projectiles, including one that lingers on screen, offering strategic interactive opportunities. Despite her extensive move set, Ingrid is classified as a normal difficulty character. A unique mechanic involves another Ingrid appearing, transforming into a doll named a Monoid, and embracing the original. This implies that Monoids can transform into her likeness, act as clones, or represent different versions of Ingrid across dimensions. Players can experience Ingrid firsthand at Evo Japan, where she will be featured at Capcom's booth. A separate ticket will be required to access this demonstration. For those looking to try her out, a playable demo will be available at Evo Japan 2026.

Street Fighter 6: Ingrid's Arrival - Personalized Powerhouse with Sun Crests and Laser Companion

Ingrid's visual customization includes a game face screen with six unique expressions, a departure from the usual character average of four. Players can personalize these faces, and some expressions may appear based on the chosen outfit. She offers two distinct costumes: a modern design that highlights her interdimensional traveler persona and a classic schoolgirl uniform, reminiscent of her earlier appearances. Central to Ingrid's gameplay is the Sun Crests mechanic, which allows her to charge energy to enhance attacks and unlock new abilities. The accumulation of Sun Crests increases her offensive capabilities. Her arsenal of ranged attacks, counters, and unpredictable movements are designed to disrupt opponents' strategies. Visually, her Super Arts are a spectacle, featuring magical strikes and a powerful beam attack that can strike from across the screen. When a match begins, Ingrid starts with one Sun Crest already active. Players can also enjoy her taunts, which involve transforming into a small floating companion that fires lasers. Ingrid will be available to play starting May 28th, 2026. She will be available to players who own the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass. Ingrid's arrival concludes Street Fighter 6's Season 3, which also introduced Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex.

Capcom Fighting All-Stars
Brief Summary
The shadow of fear was approaching Metro City. A man only known as Death, was running around Metro City with a bomb. The bomb was codenamed "Laughter Sun". Mayor Mike Haggar contacted the characters listed above in order to locate and defeat Death and then defuse the bomb. Codes were needed to disarm the bomb, and that is where the Code Holders subtitle of the game comes into play. D.D. and his teammates, Rook and Ingrid, were the Code Holders. Their codes are Ogre, Fallen Angel, and Isis. The game had a time limit, and depending of how long the player took to finish the game, the ending would vary. Originally, Capcom Fighting All-Stars was planned to be a 2D sequel to Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, before being converted to 3D. However, due to SNK's financial troubles and restructuring, the title was redesigned as a Capcom-only crossover with twenty former SNK members designing it, using the models previously built for the original title. Like SNK's KOF: Maximum Impact games, it was designed to translate a 2D fighting game series into 3D. This was done previously in the Street Fighter EX series, which Capcom co-produced with Arika. Capcom beta-tested the game, but after negative feedback from players and more months in development, the game was canceled in August 2003. According to an interview with former The King of Fighters director Toyohisa Tanabe, a secret character from Tanabe's old company (SNK) was set to be playable in Capcom Fighting All Stars.. While not confirmed, the figure bears a heavy resemblance to K' or Kyo Kusanagi.
