Producer Advises Players to Finish 'Resident Evil Requiem' Next Week, Hinting at Imminent Mini-Game DLC

Resident Evil Village: Golden Week Perfect for Imminent Minigame DLC & Story Expansion

Resident Evil Village Producer Masato Kumazawa has advised players to finish the main game by May 6th, suggesting an imminent DLC release. In an interview with Denfaminico Gamer, Director Koshi Nakanishi and Kumazawa provided details on the game's development and future plans, which include a story expansion and a minigame DLC. Nakanishi confirmed that the minigame will be playable only after completing the main storyline. Kumazawa recommended that players aim to finish the game during Japan's Golden Week holiday, running from April 29th to May 6th, indicating this period is ideal for the upcoming minigame content. The minigame is currently in its final stages of development and will be a single-player experience centered on the game's main battles. Nakanishi also hinted that Leon's hatchet might feature in this new content. While the minigame DLC is expected to be ready shortly after Golden Week, with a potential release by May 7th, the story expansion is in full production with no set release date. This story DLC may offer further details, including potential answers to the mystery surrounding Leon's wedding ring.
