This week, Nvidia announced updates to DLSS, showcased a custom PC build, and highlighted upcoming game releases with Nvidia technology support. Nvidia is rolling out an update for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution to Marathon and Black One Blood Brothers. While not natively supported, gamers can enable DLSS 4.5 via the Nvidia app in these titles. Additionally, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launches on March 13 with Nvidia tech support, and Demonologist has received native support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution. Kojima Productions, Nixxes Software, and PlayStation Publishing will release Death Stranding 2: On The Beach on PC on March 19. The game will feature DLSS 4, including Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution. Nvidia also recommends downloading the GeForce Game Ready Driver for the optimal experience. GeForce RTX Series 50 GPU users can leverage DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation to boost frame rates. All RTX GPUs support DLSS Super Resolution or DLA for high detail levels. Furthermore, gamers can update to DLSS 4.5 via the Nvidia app.
In other news, Czuga, a custom PC builder, recreated Raccoon City's destroyed police station from Resident Evil Requiem. Czuga modeled the station in Blender using 3D designs from the game before 3D printing and assembling it by hand. The build features a GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition and a water-cooled CPU using green cooling fluid to enhance the Biohazard theme. A build log is available on Geforce Garage under the title Resident Evil Requiem Raccoon Police Station. Marathon plunges players into the sci-fi world of Tau Ceti IV, a former colony now inhabited by rival runners, UESC guards, and hazardous environments. Players collect resources to enhance seasonal power, earn cosmetics through achievements, and acquire gear through looting. GeForce RTX GPU users can enable DLSS Super Resolution to increase frame rates or Nvidia DLAA for improved image quality. Upgrading to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution is also possible via the Nvidia app. Activating Nvidia Reflex within the game reduces PC latency.
DLSS Enhancements for Monster Hunter Stories 3 and Black One Blood Brothers on GeForce RTX GPUs
Capcom's Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will release a Steam demo before its March 13 launch. Players' progress from the demo carries over to the full game. Both the demo and the full game allow GeForce RTX users to utilize DLSS Super Resolution or Nvidia DLAA. The game also features Nvidia Reflex for reduced latency. Black One Blood Brothers, a single-player, campaign-driven tactical shooter, puts players in the role of Black One squad members during critical missions. The game has transitioned from Early Access to Unreal Engine 5.7.2, introducing numerous gameplay improvements and new features, including DLSS support. Gamers can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution via the Nvidia app. More details are available in Nvidia's article on DLSS updates. With DLSS updates and new releases on the horizon, Nvidia users have a lot to look forward to.
