With Resident Evil Requiem proving a massive success, evidenced by approximately 140,000 simultaneous players on Steam, details are emerging about the game and Capcom's plans for the survival horror franchise. According to the well-known insider Dusk Golem, posting on X, a Leon S. Kennedy-focused DLC expansion is in advanced development. While Nick Apostolides, the voice actor for Leon Kennedy in the Resident Evil Remake series, could not confirm his role until Capcom's announcement on February 19th, he was aware of fans' interest in an older version of the character. Apostolides and Angela Sant'Albano (playing Grace) previously collaborated on a project that required motion capture, with Sant'Albano bringing "genuine emotion and authenticity" to her acting. No new details were provided regarding Leon's decades-long struggle with PTSD stemming from the Umbrella scandal and its impact on his career, though Apostolides was set to portray Leon in Resident Evil Requiem from both first- and third-person perspectives.
Alyssa DLC and Future Resident Evil Projects Unveiled - New Characters, Remakes, and Possible Leon Kennedy Return
Dusk Golem also mentioned that a fully playable version of another character, Alyssa, has been prepared and is likely intended for DLC. This aligns with previous comments from Koshi Nakanishi about Capcom's plans for post-launch content to maintain player engagement with Resident Evil 9 (now known as Requiem). In addition to character-focused DLC, Dusk Golem also revealed a potential roadmap for future Resident Evil releases: Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake: Anticipated release in 2027. Resident Evil 0 Remake: Tentatively scheduled for 2028. Resident Evil 10: Expected to arrive after the Resident Evil 0 Remake. Resident Evil 1 Remake: Reportedly in early production. Dusk Golem acknowledged that some details are based on "well-founded assumptions" derived from background information. Fans should await official confirmation from Capcom before treating these details as fact. Dusk Golem also referenced a hidden role for Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, stating that the game's creators were tight-lipped about his involvement until the very end of production. Given the success of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom may well continue investing in the franchise for years to come.

- Capcom Fighting All-Stars
- Brief Summary
- The shadow of fear was approaching Metro City. A man only known as Death, was running around Metro City with a bomb. The bomb was codenamed "Laughter Sun". Mayor Mike Haggar contacted the characters listed above in order to locate and defeat Death and then defuse the bomb. Codes were needed to disarm the bomb, and that is where the Code Holders subtitle of the game comes into play. D.D. and his teammates, Rook and Ingrid, were the Code Holders. Their codes are Ogre, Fallen Angel, and Isis. The game had a time limit, and depending of how long the player took to finish the game, the ending would vary. Originally, Capcom Fighting All-Stars was planned to be a 2D sequel to Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, before being converted to 3D. However, due to SNK's financial troubles and restructuring, the title was redesigned as a Capcom-only crossover with twenty former SNK members designing it, using the models previously built for the original title. Like SNK's KOF: Maximum Impact games, it was designed to translate a 2D fighting game series into 3D. This was done previously in the Street Fighter EX series, which Capcom co-produced with Arika. Capcom beta-tested the game, but after negative feedback from players and more months in development, the game was canceled in August 2003. According to an interview with former The King of Fighters director Toyohisa Tanabe, a secret character from Tanabe's old company (SNK) was set to be playable in Capcom Fighting All Stars.. While not confirmed, the figure bears a heavy resemblance to K' or Kyo Kusanagi.
