New Hogwarts Legacy Mod Offers Exciting Gameplay Enhancements for PC Players

Nathdev’s Night Curfew mod introduces a challenging new mechanic for Hogwarts Legacy players: a strict nighttime curfew. From midnight to 6 AM each in-game night, prefects patrol Hogwarts Castle, actively searching for students who linger outside their dorms. If caught, players face immediate consequences. Detection by a prefect results in being sent back to the dorm and a penalty of 100 gold pieces. However, players will not incur this gold piece penalty if they possess less than 1,000 gold pieces. To avoid detection, students can utilize the Disillusionment spell for invisibility or cast distracting spells on walls or floors to divert patrolling prefects. Nathdev, the mod’s creator, has implemented 24 prefects patrolling simultaneously, and players can track their movements using the minimap. The mod also provides on-screen messages to alert players when the curfew is active. It adds a bit of thrill to nighttime wanders in Hogwarts Legacy, but not excessively.

Nathdev’s Night Curfew mod is available for free download on CurseForge. Currently, it is exclusive to PC players of Hogwarts Legacy, with no immediate plans announced for console versions. This mod offers an engaging way to add a layer of challenge and immersion to exploring Hogwarts after hours.
