With Star Wars Outlaws now behind them, Ubisoft can concentrate on the upcoming release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, their anticipated end-of-year cartridge. Despite the company’s current financial challenges, Ubisoft aims to perform well with this title to regain momentum. However, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is unfortunately clouded by several controversies regarding Yasuke, whose status as a black samurai has been subject to debate, even among Japanese politicians. Ubisoft prefers to direct attention towards their game and invites players to explore its universe, particularly the landscapes of Japan. The game features snow-capped mountains, cherry blossoms in bloom, majestic temples, babbling brooks, and bamboo forests – all the picturesque scenery of the Land of the Rising Sun is included. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set for release on November 15 next year, available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
