The Pokémon UNITE community is competing in regional events to qualify for the World Championships in San Francisco, USA, from August 28–30. In the United States, Europe, and Latin America, the eight teams in each regional league will play 14 games to determine the top five teams that will advance to their respective playoffs. The top two teams from each league will then secure a spot in the World Championships. The Latin American regional is currently underway in Curitiba, Brazil, as part of the Pokémon Regional Championships 2026, which includes tournaments for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Pokémon GO, and Video Game Championship (VGC). Beyond Pokémon UNITE, other card game events are also taking place. Santiago will host the Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Fusion World Championship 2026 from May 16–17, the Gundam Card Game 2026 Regional on May 17, the Digimon Card Game 2026 Regional on May 16, and the Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Masters Offline Regional 2026 from May 16–17. A Regular Sanctioned Tournament named “test1” is scheduled for Santiago on March 16, 2028. Additionally, the Pokémon GO Championship 2026 is set for Lima on May 23.
