PUBG Mobile has announced “Trial of Fire,” a new reality competition series set to premiere on May 30, 2026. This marks the first reality show based on the popular mobile game, featuring 16 elite international teams competing in Bali, Indonesia. The competition will deviate from standard gameplay by utilizing Nerf guns instead of regular weapons. Teams will face survival missions and intense challenges designed to mirror PUBG Mobile’s core mechanics. These challenges include gathering supplies, securing airdrops, and engaging opponents as the iconic blue zone closes in. Challenges will test participants’ intelligence, strategy, and stamina. “Trial of Fire” aims to expand the spirit of challenge beyond the virtual world and connect with PUBG Mobile’s global esports ecosystem. The series is produced by Krafton, Level Infinite, and Lightspeed Studios, blending intense survival action with backstage drama and lighter moments. The show will showcase diverse playstyles and cultures from regions such as America, Asia, and Europe.

The trailer for “Trial of Fire” has generated significant interest online, with trending hashtags including #PUBGMTrialOfFire and #TrialOfFire. The visual spectacle of the show draws inspiration from the challenges introduced in the thematic mode update version 4.4, “Crown of Heroes.” The winning team will receive the “Flame of Glory,” which will be carried to the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) in Jakarta, thus initiating the tournament.
