Microsoft Expands Fable’s Reach with Multi-Platform Launch in Fall 2026 (Excluding Forza Horizon 6)

Playground Games and Microsoft Gaming have announced that Fable will launch in the fall of 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Game Pass Ultimate—as well as on PlayStation 5. According to Ryan Fulton, head of Playground Games, the decision to release Fable on PS5 aims to broaden the game’s accessibility. He stated that most developers share the goal of having their games played by as many people as possible. This multi-platform release underscores Microsoft’s evolving strategy to reach a wider audience. Forza Horizon 6, however, will not be available on Playstation.
