Ragnarok Online LATAM Celebrates First Anniversary with Major Update and City-Wide Event Ragnarok Online LATAM is celebrating its first anniversary, marking one year since the server’s launch with a significant in-game update and a unique promotional event in São Paulo, Brazil. These festivities offer players new opportunities to explore content introduced with the latest update. In partnership with Eletromidia, Gravity has launched an interactive activation on Paulista Avenue in São Paulo, titled “The City Turned Portal.” This initiative transforms traditional digital urban furniture into an immersive micro-experience, directly connecting the urban environment to the Ragnarok universe. Participants can choose one of three available classes and take a photo at a MUB (Mobile Urban Billboard), which is instantly personalized with the appearance of one of the new “Classes 4” from Ragnarok Online LATAM. Through a QR code, the public can download their personalized photo and unlock exclusive in-game benefits and rewards. The update introduces “Classes 4,” the definitive evolution of “Classes 3” in Ragnarok Online LATAM. This addition brings 13 new character evolutions featuring unique abilities, advanced combat styles, and mechanics focused on PvE and PvP. This update significantly expands character build and progression possibilities.

With the arrival of Classes 4, the level cap has been extended to 250. The update also introduces new systems, such as “talents,” which provide special attributes offering advanced bonuses for damage, resistance, accuracy, healing, and critical hits, enabling greater build customization. Furthermore, the “Activity Points” (AP) system is a new feature that allows players to activate extremely powerful abilities requiring strategic combat management. A primary highlight is the “Refinement Event,” which injects dynamism into the in-game economy with limited packages sold for Joy Coins. These packages contain bonuses geared toward equipment upgrades, such as Mental Potions, Blacksmith’s Blessings, and Fiery Oval Artifacts. Another significant event is the “XP and PlayersForLife Event,” offering global progression bonuses, increased drop rates, a temporary reduction in death penalties, and special periods of enhanced experience in selected episodes and instances.

The celebration also features the “Gratitude Event,” with exclusive actions tailored for veterans, new players, and returning users. Additionally, the one-year anniversary campaign will host accelerated progression events, daily reward systems, community activities, special competitions, and in-game actions distributing various items and consumables throughout the celebratory period.
