Samsung Ocean Manaus will host the Global Game Jam 2026 in the Amazon from January 26 to February 2, offering both in-person and virtual participation. This Ocean Game Jam invites students, professionals, and enthusiasts to collaborate on digital and analog game creation during the week-long event. The Jam kicks off on January 26 at 4 PM (Amazon time) with a presentation of past games, the unveiling of this year's theme, and team formations. For the next seven days, participants will have access to a comprehensive game development program. Brazilians can also participate remotely and receive mentoring and educational resources from Samsung Ocean. In addition to hosting events like the Game Jam, Samsung is involved in a wide range of technologies, including TVs, digital signage, smartphones, and semiconductors. The company also develops medical imaging, climate solutions, and automotive technologies (through Harman).
