Today, SNK launches Season 2 of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, introducing Kim Jae Hoon as the first downloadable content (DLC) fighter. This taekwondo expert joins the roster alongside a comprehensive balance update for all fighters. The Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Legend Edition, including both seasons of DLC characters, is also now available. This new season will deliver six fighters, released monthly. The currently announced fighters are Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, and Wolfgang Krauser. The identities of the remaining two fighters remain a mystery. Owners of the Special Edition can purchase Season 2 separately.

Kim Jae Hoon's return to the Fatal Fury series marks his first appearance in over two decades, since his debut in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. This taekwondo expert employs rapid combos and agile movements inspired by his father, Kim Kaphwan. Dedicated to mastering his father’s techniques for justice, his brother Dong Hwan’s unique style prompts him to explore his own approach to combat. Driven by self-doubt and a desire to cleanse South Town, Jae Hoon sets his sights on the King of Fighters tournament, hoping to acquire new techniques and surpass his father and brother. In Story mode, trouble finds him while he's at a cafe with Dong Hwan. SNK's Season 2 update includes significant balance adjustments and system tweaks based on player feedback, enhancing each fighter's unique offensive and defensive capabilities. Details on this update are available [here]. The SNK World Championship 2026 is also on the horizon, featuring over US$4 million in prizes. Further details can be found [here].
