The information was already circulating when Nicolas Doucet was interviewed by certain media following the release of Astro Bot, but the State of Play at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 confirmed it: there will indeed be a free DLC for the PS5 platformer. Featuring no less than five new speedrun levels and ten surprise bots to liberate, this addition is likely to rekindle interest among many players who have already platinum-ed the Astro Bot adventure. It has been revealed that the famous super-democrats from Helldivers will be included, along with Eve from Stellar Blade drinking cans near her dispenser. As for the rest of the surprises, you’ll have to speculate on the identities of these guests. The DLC is scheduled to arrive this autumn.
