We cordially invite all interested parties to attend the presentation of the digital game projects developed by the students of the Digital Games course at Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUCPR) over the past year.
The event will take place on June 23rd and 24th at the Curitiba campus of the University. This traditional gathering recognizes student achievements, featuring games created during classes or in external projects. Notably, many games that were initially presented at the PUCPR Game Show have since gained recognition at other Festivals and Shows! Some recent examples include:
The exhibition offers free admission and is accessible to the general public without requiring registration. It serves as the most significant extension activity of our course, inviting members of the community into the university. More than 40 games of various types are anticipated to be on display!
The games will be exhibited at the Extended Reality Center of PUCPR on the second floor of the Yellow Block. On June 23 (Tuesday), the event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On June 24 (Wednesday), the exhibition will be open from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
During the event, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite games using the following link, which will be active during the event:
A notable feature of this edition is that the most voted games will be showcased in the Game Room at the Riachuelo Studio, a new dedicated space for gaming and animation in Curitiba.
Concurrently with the PUCPR Game Show, the Digital Video Game Soundtracks Exhibition, organized by OnLoop, a research and development unit associated with the course, will take place on June 24 at the Extended Reality Center within the Immersive Auditorium.
