Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle: 14 New Minutes of Gameplay to Reassure Players

by Sophie Laurent

Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will soon be available on shelves and online stores, as it was announced this holiday Monday. This announcement provided Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames with an opportunity to address concerns from hesitant players regarding the first-person perspective for playing as Indiana Jones. The decision indeed elicited various reactions, including some rejection of such titles. To clarify, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will be an action-adventure game featuring exploration, puzzles to solve, climbing aids like a whip, and close combat scenarios. While the FPS view may not provide fluid or impactful visual rendering, there are still surprises in store. However, the game aims to immerse players through its atmosphere, acting (thanks to Troy Baker), comedic situations, and narrative elements, thereby helping them overlook any outdated animations or seemingly basic AI.

Meet on the 9th of next month to get the full picture for both PC and Xbox Series versions.
