Exciting news is finally here just weeks before its launch: Fort Solis has unveiled its gameplay! Developers Fallen Leaf have chosen to make this announcement through our friends at IGN, sharing their deep admiration for iconic horror games like Dead Space and the more recent The Callisto Protocol as they craft their own unique vision of space horror. Adding an extra layer of intrigue is Riger Clark, famous for his role as Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, who takes on the character of Jack Leary—an engineer sent to Mars to investigate a mysterious distress signal from Fort Solis station. As expected, when he arrives at the station, all he finds are eerie messages and signs of chaos, with no living beings around—except for the recorded voice of another man, brought vividly to life by Troy Baker (best known for his role as Joel in The Last of Us).
The 14 minutes of gameplay provide a fantastic sneak peek into the stunning visuals crafted with Unreal Engine 5, tailored for an immersive experience on PC, PS5, and even Mac! Fort Solis truly shines with its captivating atmosphere and engaging dialogues that set the stage for Jack Leary’s gripping adventure. Roger Clark’s unmistakable voice brings depth to his character, while the gameplay showcases the engineer’s capabilities. For those eager to dive into the action and face the initial foes, another watch is a must as the developers are clearly aiming to keep players on edge with suspenseful moments. Mark your calendars for August 22nd – Fort Solis is set to launch across PC, PS5, and Mac, and who knows, maybe there’s still life in playing on Mac!
