IGN Reveals Game "The Boys: Trigger Warning", Developed by Brazilians at Arvore

IGN reported last week that the Brazilian studio Arvore, known for immersive XR experiences and its partnership with Atari, is developing The Boys: Trigger Warning. Arvore announced the trailer for the game on March 11; the video has already garnered 3.89 million views. The trailer showcases scenes exclusive to the game. These scenes are from an original story, a collaboration between Arvore, the creators and writers of The Boys, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The VR game, set within the universe of the Amazon Prime Video franchise, launches on March 26 for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest 3. Pre-orders for the Quest version are available on the Horizon Store for $24, and PS VR2 users can add the title to their wishlists on the PlayStation Store. Players control Lucas Costa, a Vought employee whose family is caught in the crossfire with the Armstrongs, resulting in chaos. Rescued and granted powers, Lucas joins an underground movement to combat Vought and its supes, using doses of Temp V to choose between stealth or outright chaotic mission approaches.

The Boys: Trigger Warning - Arvore's Narrative Adventure Unfolds

Jensen Ackles will lend his voice to the game's exclusive interpretation of Soldier Boy. Cast members from the series, including Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke), will reprise their roles. Arvore, which won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2020 for The Line, aims to immerse players in a narrative where Lucas uncovers disturbing secrets involving a decadent family of superheroes. Driven by a quest for answers and revenge, he joins The Boys. His journey involves infiltrations, grotesque encounters, and managing his unstable powers. The Boys: Trigger Warning releases on March 26. For updates, follow Arvore on X, Instagram, and Threads, or visit the studio's official website. [NOTE: The following paragraph refers to a separate game and was extracted and clarified.] A separate title also called The Boys: Trigger Warning, developed by HUG, is scheduled to be showcased at Hug Jam during Latin America’s Big Festival from February 25 to March 4, 2026.
