Sony has officially announced the return of Days of Play, its annual promotional event, which will take place from May 27 to June 10, 2026. This period will feature special offers on PlayStation VR2, accessories, and a wide selection of PS4 and PS5 games. During the campaign, players can expect significant discounts on physical copies of key titles in the PlayStation catalog, including both established franchises and recent releases. PS5 titles such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarök, The Last of Us Part I, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, and Helldivers 2 will be available for R169.00. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Astro Bot, and Lego Horizon Adventures will also see price reductions, highlighting the diverse gaming experiences offered.

PlayStation VR2 headsets will be available with a $100 discount, priced at R2,999.90. Enthusiasts can also acquire hardware and accessories at reduced prices. These include Pulse Explore wireless earbuds with a $50 discount and the Pulse Elite wireless headset with a $40 discount. The DualSense Edge wireless controller will be reduced by $30, and the Access controller, designed for enhanced accessibility, will also be reduced by $30. Wireless DualSense controllers will be available with up to a $20 discount. For PlayStation Plus members, the Days of Play event will bring exclusive perks. Monthly games will include titles like Grounded, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Additionally, the Game Catalog will receive new additions, and PlayStation Plus Premium members will gain access to over 40 game trials.

Days of Play 2026: Tournaments, Prizes, & Discounts on Games, Hardware, and PS Plus Subscriptions

Tournaments are also a key part of Days of Play 2026. Competitions will be held for games such as Fortnite, Tekken 8, NBA 2K26, Gran Turismo 7, EA Sports Madden NFL 26, Mortal Kombat 1, and Astro Bot. Participants can win prizes including in-game rewards, hardware like the PlayStation Portal and the Wireless DualSense Edge controller, 12-month PS Plus Premium subscriptions, and PlayStation Store credit. Special “Golden Tournaments” will offer double rewards in selected games, with additional awards for Gran Turismo 7 and Fortnite competitors. All tournament participants will receive an exclusive event avatar. PlayStation Store subscriptions will also be discounted during Days of Play, with a 33% reduction on new annual PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
