Capcom has unveiled Yasmine, the inaugural fighter for the fourth season of Street Fighter 6. The game, which has sold over 7 million copies in three years, will see its new season commence on August 3, 2026, starting with the introduction of Yasmine. This 1.63-meter, 59-kilogram student practices Eskrima, a Filipino martial art, marking her as the first Filipino fighter in the Street Fighter franchise. Her visual design and attire are deeply rooted in her cultural heritage. Yasmine is engineered as a fast and aggressive combatant, preferring close-range engagements and maintaining relentless pressure through swift attack sequences. Her skillset includes rapid approaches, concise yet impactful combo strings, potent close-quarters tools, and numerous karambit-based attacks. An empowerment mechanic further augments her capabilities. Her moves artfully blend weapon mastery with unarmed martial arts, further emphasized by vibrant green energy effects during many of her offensive maneuvers. The character trailer depicts Yasmine with a cheerful disposition, concluding one victory with a humble bow and the expression, “Thank you, so much,” underscoring her respectful nature. Yasmine is voiced by Filipino-American actress Abby Espiritu.

Originally from the Philippines, Yasmine learned Eskrima from her grandfather, training alongside her older brother. Her pursuit of her brother, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances, led her to resume her training with her karambit. Inspired by online videos featuring a particular French supermodel, Yasmine has embarked on a quest to find her missing sibling. During her journey, Yasmine employs a variety of high-speed Eskrima techniques, including: Water Carry: A swift, forward-lunging blade attack ideal for initiating or extending combos. Alon: A follow-up strike to Water Carry, involving multiple slashes. The final hit varies based on the intensity used and can activate her empowered state, Bayani mode. Talim Ng Hangin: Yasmine executes a forward sweep that can either reduce distance to the opponent or induce an opening, depending on the intensity. Successful strikes also activate Bayani mode. Mukha Ng Langit: Yasmine performs a forward somersault, capable of surprising opponents with a frontal strike or an inverted rotational attack. Lipad Ng Agila: A multi-strike aerial attack where Yasmine delivers a rapid series of kicks. Pangil Sa Likuran: A projectile spin launched at varying speeds, designed to pressure opponents and break their defenses.

Hiwa Ng Kalangitan (Level 1 Super Art): Yasmine launches the opponent into the air with a kick, slams them down forcefully, and enters Bayani mode. Nakatagong Lakas (Level 2 Super Art): During this technique, Yasmine concentrates her energy for a temporary power boost, enabling special moves while maintaining Bayani mode. She can also utilize Linya Ng Liwanag, a rapid advance to strike from behind. Pamumukadkad Ng Sampaguita (Level 3 Super Art): Yasmine spins the opponent, accumulates energy, and finishes with a devastating attack. Yasmine will be available starting August 3, 2026, for players who own or acquire the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass. Capcom has released a gameplay trailer showcasing her abilities. Players can unlock Yasmine individually using Fighter Coins from the in-game shop if they do not possess the Year 4 Passes. Additionally, two distinct alternate outfits will be available: Outfit 1 represents her combat uniform used in Eskrima practice, while Outfit 2 features her school uniform, which she wears between fights. Outfit 2 can be unlocked by maximizing the acquisition gauge in Avatar Arcade mode or by purchasing it with Fighter Coins.
