Alien Isolation 2 will feature a new protagonist and a fresh setting on a remote colony world. The game unfolds at Kurosaki Station, a Weyland-Yutani outpost on a distant, stormy planet. This new environment will expand the gameplay beyond the confined corridors of space stations, as a significant portion of the adventure will take place on the surface of the colony surrounding Kurosaki. Players will explore the planet’s surface and Weyland-Yutani’s Kurosaki Station, requiring them to think on their feet and devise new strategies and tools for survival against the Xenomorph.

The sequel was first teased with a trailer at Summer Game Fest 2024. More recently, at Summer Game Fest 2026, the first full trailer for Alien Isolation 2 was revealed, providing a glimpse into the game’s atmosphere. The trailer featured an abandoned facility where the Xenomorph hunts for its next meal, underscoring the game’s commitment to pure horror, discretion, and evasion against a superior enemy.
