Resident Evil 9: Requiem Demo Available Now, Alongside First Major Sale Capcom has released a free playable demo for its survival horror title, Resident Evil 9: Requiem. The demo is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The demo allows players to experience early-game content featuring two distinct characters: FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and the iconic agent Leon S. Kennedy. Each character offers a unique gameplay style. Players will begin as Grace, exploring the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, and will also experience a brief action segment as Leon. Players may encounter one of the game’s signature monsters within the demo. Capcom released this demo three months after the full release of Resident Evil 9: Requiem. This timing deviates from Capcom’s typical practice of offering demos before a game’s launch. Progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full game.

In conjunction with the demo’s release, Resident Evil 9: Requiem is also receiving its first promotional discount. During the ongoing Days of Play event, the game is available for $55.99 on the PlayStation Store.
