Sad Cat Studios' Replaced is nearing its release after several delays, with the cyberpunk action-adventure game scheduled to launch on April 14 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. IGN.com has released a 15-minute gameplay preview of Replaced, exploring the narrative and showcasing The Station, a key environment. IGN reports that The Station is the largest and most fortified settlement in the Disposals region, located near the Phoenix City Wall. Once a vibrant working-class neighborhood, it has since evolved into a self-sufficient community, complete with a bar, a stable power supply, and residents ranging from miners to scavengers. The preview follows R.E.A.C.H., an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body, as it explores this dense and lively quarter. While this preview focuses on the game's exploration, captivating 2.5D visuals, and pixel art style, those seeking immediate action and combat may be left wanting more. The clip also features interactions between R.E.A.C.H. and NPCs, such as Susan, a young girl who spends time in an arcade room while her mother works in the mines. Replaced features a deep interaction system where choices can influence other characters' perceptions and affect the plot.
