Pokemon Pokopia Includes Reference to Wind and Waves

Pokémon Pokopia Unveils Lumineon Poster Hinting at Wind and Waves Connection

The new Pokémon spinoff, Pokémon Pokopia, developed by Game Freak in collaboration with Omega Force of Koei Tecmo, is now available worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2. This life simulation game, with building elements reminiscent of Minecraft and Animal Crossing, includes a subtle reference to the upcoming mainline games, Pokémon Wind and Waves. As the player journeys through Pokopia as Ditto, they will discover ruins of human civilization, including a distinctive poster of Lumineon. This Pokémon also appears in the Wind and Waves trailer during the segment showcasing seabed exploration, which Game Freak referenced in Pokopia using the poster.
