Pokemon Pokopia to Feature Limited Event with 3 Additional Pokemons

Pokémon Pokopia, a life simulation and construction game where players control a Ditto to revitalize desolate locations into Pokémon habitats, launched today, March 5, 2026, for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game's first limited-time event, "More Spores for Hoppip," will run from March 9 to March 24. Sources close to the developer have confirmed that this event is exclusive to the Switch 2 version of Pokopia. During the event, players will have the chance to catch the rare Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff—Pokémon that are otherwise unavailable in the game! Players can also find Special Cotton Spores, a new item that can be exchanged for picnic-themed furniture. The Pokémon Company has cautioned players that Skiploom and Jumpluff will not appear outside of this event, so collecting cotton and building habitats requires participation during the specified dates. The "More Spores for Hoppip" event will not be available in Cloud Islands, the server-based instances for multiplayer games. This event will only appear in locations where a Pokémon Center has already been built. Notably, Pokémon in Pokopia cannot evolve during this time.

Pokémon Pokopia - Main Story, Exploration, and Shared Transformable Pallet Town with Friend Events!

The game features a main story campaign, free-roaming exploration, and the ability to transform a shared Pallet Town where up to four friends can join, in addition to temporary events.
