AMD Executive Says New Xbox Arrives in 2027

AMD's New Semi-Custom Processor for 2027 Xbox Console Development Confirmed by CEO Lisa Su

During an investor call, AMD CEO Lisa Su announced that the company is developing a new semi-custom processor with Microsoft for the next-generation Xbox console, slated for release in 2027. Su confirmed that development is proceeding smoothly and on schedule. Microsoft has not yet officially confirmed the collaboration. However, given AMD's established role as the primary hardware provider for Xbox consoles, analysts consider Su's statement a strong indication of the next Xbox's likely specifications and release window, aligning with typical console cycles since the Xbox Series X/S launch in 2020.
