Yakuza Kiwami 3: Dark Ties Demo Now Live – Explore Ryukyu as Kazuma Kiryu

A free demo of Yakuza Kiwami 3: Dark Ties from Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is available now for PC players. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch players can access the demo late Wednesday night at 2 AM Brasilia time. In the demo, players explore Ryukyu in Okinawa as Kazuma Kiryu, battling enemies and switching between the Dragon of Dojima Kiwami style and the Ryukyu style based on available weapons. Karaoke, side stories, and character customization options are also available. Note that progress from the demo will not transfer to the full game. The full game will feature a new story, also titled Dark Ties, centered on Yoshitaka Mine and set in Kamurocho, Tokyo. Yakuza Kiwami 3: Dark Ties is a remake of the third game in the series, which originally launched on PlayStation 3 in 2009 before coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This new story sees Yoshitaka Mine entering the Yakuza underworld after suffering great losses. Dark Ties will be released on February 12, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Preordering unlocks the Legendary Lad: Ichiban Kasuga bonus item, adding the popular character Ichiban Kasuga to the Ryukyu gang.
