Ubisoft Reassesses Quality Standards, Cancels 4 Unannounced Titles, Delays 7 Games

Following a recent internal project review, Ubisoft has canceled six games and delayed seven others as part of a shift to prioritize quality. Ubisoft stated that the company will focus on developing high-quality open-world adventure games and explore new approaches to narrative experiences as a service. The remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, along with four unannounced titles, a mobile game, and three unrevealed projects, were deemed not to meet the revised quality standards and thus were canceled. Ubisoft delayed seven other games because the development teams could not meet their deadlines.
