Honor of Kings Expands Esports Program in 2026 with New Global League and Regional Leagues

In 2026, Honor of Kings, the world’s most-played mobile online battle arena (MOBA), will launch a 5v5v5 battle mode inspired by esports competitions, allowing players to represent their nations. The game will also celebrate the Year of the Tiger with limited-time, exclusive visuals. Level Infinite and Honor of Kings Esports are restructuring the game’s 2026 esports program to prioritize long-term growth by revamping leagues and tightening regulations on importing players. These strategic changes aim to create a more level playing field between regions and boost opportunities for local talent to rise to the top. A centerpiece of these efforts is the introduction of the Honor of Kings Major League (KML), a new global league that consolidates the Wildcard Kings Series, Major West League, and Major East League. Joining the KML in the 2026 competitive landscape are the Indonesia Kings League (IKL), Philippines Kings League (PKL), Malaysia Kings League (MKL), and the Brazil league (CHOKBR). Pro teams from Macau and Hong Kong are also set to rejoin the competitive scene in Mainland China. The King Pro League will remain a China-exclusive league, running alongside these international competitions.

Esports Path Opens in Honor of Kings, Unlocking Rewards and New Content for January 2026

Until February 10th at 2:00 AM Brasilia time, players can participate in the “Sports Path” event, stepping into the role of an esports competitor representing their country. Climb the ranks in this event to unlock rewards and achieve esports star status. Additionally, players can purchase exclusive Year of the Tiger visuals for a limited time, until January 30th. Starting January 16th, 2026, and continuing until April 9th, 2026, the latest Honor Pass season delivers a wealth of new content. Players can unlock the free Mecha Blueprint Cirrus skin through the Honor Pass, while the Premium Honor Pass offers the Feyds Stellar Vigilante and Duns Boreas Blade skins. Throughout January, players can also claim free Flowborn Outfits and Spriteling Costumes. Honor of Kings is available for download via the App Store, Google Play, and Samsung Galaxy Store.
