The agency claims the popular game creation platform disseminates LGBTQ propaganda, encourages violent crime, and has failed to adequately moderate user-created environments. According to Roskomnadzor, the platform contains prohibited content that violates local legislation, including extremist and terrorist apologias, gambling games, violent material, and LGBTQ-related content. Roblox Corp. told Reuters that it aims to create a safe learning environment while complying with local laws, utilizing specialized teams and AI systems for continuous moderation. The company asserts that it collaborates with security organizations and maintains strict policies to protect children and teenagers, while acknowledging that its open ecosystem requires constant monitoring.
