Romeo Is A Dead Man Reveals New Trailer, Locks In Release Date

Romeo Is A Dead Man Launches February 2026 - Goichi Suda Teases Potential Collaboration with Yuji Naka

Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that Romeo Is A Dead Man will launch on February 11, 2026, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The studio, now a subsidiary of the Chinese company NetEase, will self-publish the game, foregoing a traditional publisher. Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51, the game's Executive Director, Writer, and Producer, joked about the release date, hinting at a possible collaboration with Yuji Naka. " Romeo Is A Dead Man should have been released secretly alongside Grand Theft Auto 6, but as Rockstar decided to postpone their game, we decided to advance the release," Suda said. "Now that we’ve won our bluff against cough cough a certain 2026 release that’s been delayed twice, we can reveal our cards and confirm that we never intended to release in May. We’re warping spacetime to give the final touches to Romeo Is A Dead Man before its February 2026 launch."

New Trailer for Romeo Stargazer's Dead Man Unveils Temporal FBI Action Adventure

Romeo Is A Dead Man is an action game starring Romeo Stargazer. After a temporal paradox nearly killed him and destroyed the spacetime continuum, Romeo is resurrected as a special agent for the Temporal FBI. Now known as Dead Man and wearing the Dead Gear mask, Romeo must hunt down criminals who have escaped through rifts between universes, and confront the consequences of the spacetime rupture. The game emphasizes a mix of close-quarters and long-range combat, tasking players with switching between swords and firearms to battle hordes of enemies. Defeating enemies accumulates blood that activates a special attack called Bloody Summer, capable of turning the tide of battle. As players progress, they can upgrade weapons and abilities to face stronger enemies. Beyond the intense action, the game features a dramatic and mysterious plot. Romeo is not only hunting down spacetime criminals, but also attempting to unravel the mystery of his girlfriend Juliet's disappearance, discovering that the destruction of spacetime may be deeply interconnected. Expect a narrative full of twists, surrealism, and graphic violence – hallmarks of Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51's unique style.
