New Tekken 8 Fighter Miary Zo Mastering Moraingy and Lemurs from Madagascar

Miary Zo, a new character in the Tekken series, hails from Madagascar and specializes in Moraingy and other African martial arts. Moraingy, a traditional Malagasy martial art, involves barehand combat, utilizing punches, elbows, knees, and feet. It is a cultural practice that reflects the history and resilience of the Malagasy people. Bandai Namco describes Miary Zo as an animal lover who developed her martial arts skills by mimicking animal movements. She shares a special bond with two ring-tailed lemurs, Vanilla and Cacao. Miary Zo will also introduce the Madagascar stage, Baobab Horizon, to Tekken 8. She is set to be the fourth and final DLC character of the game's second season. Meanwhile, fans are anticipating the debut of the third DLC character, Armor King, on October 17. Owners of the second season's Character and Stage Pass, or the Character Pass alone, will receive 72-hour early access to Armor King, beginning October 14.
