Expansion Unleashes Johto Pokémon Cards and Enhances Features in TCG Pocket’s Wisdom of Sea and Sky

Following an early video release by The Pokémon Company in Italy, The Pokémon Company has confirmed official details for the next Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion, “Wisdom of Sea and Sky.” The expansion launches on July 30 at 7 AM in continental Portugal (3 AM in Brasília). It features creatures from the Johto region, originally introduced in classic games such as Pokémon Gold and Silver. Notable new cards include Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Lugia, and Ho-Oh, among others. Some of these new cards introduce attacks that do not require Energy, a mechanic which will influence strategies and deck building within Pokémon TCG Pocket. The expansion also arrives with an update introducing a wishlist feature and improved trading functionality. Players can now add up to 20 cards to their wishlist. Furthermore, trading no longer requires tokens; Shinedust serves as the new digital item for swaps. Players can look forward to these new features and cards on July 30.
