Xbox Has Over 40 Projects in Development

Microsoft’s recent significant shakeup led to the closure of several studios and, unfortunately, job losses for many employees. However, on a more positive note, a significant number of other projects are still progressing well. Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios, confirmed the cancellation of Perfect Dark, Everwild, and The Initiative. On a positive note, Rare remains active. Despite these cancellations, Xbox still has 40 projects in development. Booty also confirmed that all titles showcased in June remain in production. However, fresh updates are not yet available for titles such as Fable, Gears of War: EDay, Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon, Halo, and numerous other titles.
