Following the Mario Kart Direct on April 17th, 2025, we turned our attention to the newly released trailer for The Fantastic Four. This MCU film continues to generate excitement with each new preview. Every aspect of it seems thoughtfully designed, from the well-chosen cast (Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bacharach) to the retro-futuristic art direction with a distinctive 60s aesthetic, catchy music, and compelling stakes. The initial trailer, released over two months ago, provided clues indicating that our four superheroes are not in the same timeline as the MCU’s Earth-616. It also revealed that Galactus will arrive through the breach created by Reed Richards, Sue Storm is pregnant, and the Silver Surfer, played by Julia Garner and portrayed as Shalla-Bal, plays a significant role beyond mere decoration. For the first time in this new trailer, we see Mr. Fantastic’s members stretching, yet Marvel Studios appears intent on maintaining suspense until the film’s premiere on July 23rd, 2025, in France.
