SNK took advantage of the EVO Awards over the weekend to unveil the list of fighters who will arrive as DLC in Season Pass #1. The lineup was quite impressive: Andy Bogard with a new stylish outfit, Joe Higashi now sporting glasses (like his student Preecha), Ken and Chun-Li from Street Fighter, and finally the return of Mr. Big. Fans of SNK undoubtedly expressed their joy upon seeing this announcement. However, that’s not all; it was also revealed that Terry Bogard’s ‘Fatal Fury 2’ costume will be available as bonus DLC, alongside Kain R. Heinlein who will join the roster at the game’s launch. As the last boss from 1999’s Mark of the Wolves, he returns with his classic move-set, and the unprecedented and impressive staging demonstrates that SNK has found the right formula.
SNK announces an open beta for everyone from February 20 to 24, which will include 8 playable characters, among them Kain R. Heinlein. This period will allow SNK to perform extensive testing to improve the online experience of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The game is scheduled for release on April 24 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
