The Bloober Team is certainly not idle. Following the success of the Silent Hill 2 Remake and the significant effort put into it, another survival horror title is on the horizon, scheduled for release in 2025. Its name? Cronos The New Dawn, which was unveiled during the Xbox Partner Preview. Planned for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, Cronos The New Dawn features a story of time travel set in a post-apocalyptic Poland of the 1980s. As is typical, the developers are Polish and will provide players with a deeper understanding of their country and culture, often overlooked in video games. Players will take on the role of a traveler, an agent of the enigmatic group “Collectif,” whose mission is to extract individuals who did not survive a past apocalypse. To fulfill Collectif’s mission, players must navigate through a deadly desert created by a catastrophic event known as The Change, filled with monstrous abominations that will challenge their combat abilities. An intriguing setting that recently revealed its first gameplay images in a captivating cinematic trailer. The game promises to be both grim and visually appealing.
