Microids continues to impress with its commitment to adapting comic books into video games, announcing “The Smurfs: The Epic of Dreams,” set for release in late 2024 on all consoles. Ocellus (now known as Ocellus Services), the studio responsible for this project, earned recognition with the 2021 release of “Marsupilami: The Secret of the Sarcophagus” due to its high production quality. “The Smurfs: The Epic of Dreams” will be a 3D isometric platformer, featuring dynamic camera angles that provide varied perspectives.
Regarding the story, it is revealed that Gargamel has devised a new and cunning plan to capture the Smurfs. He cast a deceptive spell on the salamanders, which are the Smurfs’ favorite delicacy, putting them into a deep sleep. The game will feature both solo and cooperative gameplay across four different worlds, consisting of 28 levels divided into 12 stages and 16 mini-levels. The release of “The Smurfs: The Epic of Dreams” is scheduled for the end of the year on PC and all major consoles.
