Dune Awakening : Découverte du monde d’Arrakis dans cette nouvelle vidéo

Among the highly anticipated games scheduled for release in 2025 is Dune Awakening, set for May 20th. This new production comes from Funcom studios, known for their expertise in developing MMOs over many years. The studio aims to introduce players to the world of Arrakis, a majestic yet arid planet where the most valuable resource, spice, can be harvested. Various factions have long been vying for control of this crucial material, and this ongoing conflict is naturally reflected within the game. Players get a glimpse into the diverse methods of gathering resources in the game, whether it’s climbing cliffs on foot, driving a quad vehicle, or using a special grappling hook and energy launcher to glide briefly across the landscape. Additionally, players will have access to an interesting tool for scanning their surroundings to more easily locate areas rich with resources.

Malgré être une planète désertique, Arrakis présente un éventail diversifié d’environnements qui évoquent des comparaisons avec le décor de monde ouvert dans Mad Max de 2015. La planète comporte un climat parfois hostile, incluant vents de Mélange et tempêtes Coriolis, lesquels peuvent être dangereux et capables de remodeler le terrain, révélant ainsi de nouvelles ressources et localisations tout en effaçant d’autres. Dune Awakening est prévu pour sortie le 20 mai, mais les joueurs peuvent déjà télécharger le Character Creator et le Benchmark Mode via Steam pour se préparer.
