In January 2026, World War Z will release a new DLC campaign that brings The Walking Dead universe to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Saber Interactive’s extra content will feature three new chapters with iconic locations from the AMC show and allow players to control iconic characters from the series. The DLC incorporates both fast and slow zombies, including a new type of undead enemy called the Spiked Walker, which is resistant to close-quarters combat.
