As is customary every Monday, SELL has published the ranking of the best-selling video games in France. These are the results for Week 20, from May 20th to 26th, 2024, and it can be noted that Nintendo has returned to its usual position. Specifically, Nintendo Switch games have seen a sudden surge, displacing TopSin 2K25 and Stellar Blade from their previous positions. While both titles are likely still among the top 10 sellers, they have indeed dropped out of the visible Top 5. Instead, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe retains its first position with remarkable longevity, followed by Super Mario Wonder in second place. Princess Peach Showtime has dropped to third place after being the top seller the previous week. In fourth and fifth places, EA Sports FC 24 has made a comeback, performing well on both PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
On PC, however, Minecraft Java & Medrock pulls off a heist by occupying the first and second places thanks to its Deluxe edition. And at third place, it’s also Electronic Arts’ football game that stands out.
