Tekken 8 Unveils New Characters and Details of TWT Finals

New DLC Characters & Madagascar Stage for Tekken 8; Armor King and Miary Zo Announced

At Evo 2025, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. unveiled new details for Tekken 8, including upcoming character DLCs and the location for the next Tekken World Tour Finals. New DLC Characters and Stage The next fighter to join Tekken 8 via DLC is Armor King, available on October 16. Early access begins on October 13 for owners of the Season 2 Character Pass. Armor King returns as “Dark Supernova” in his latest trailer, sporting a fiery mane and armed with his signature explosive attacks and deadly combos. The final DLC character of Season 2, Miary Zo from Madagascar, will join the roster in December 2025 (winter in the Northern Hemisphere). As Tekken 8’s first original DLC character, her arrival will coincide with the introduction of a new environment set in Madagascar. This stage will feature traditional architecture and iconic baobab trees under a sunset sky. Once Miary Zo is released, the Tekken 8 roster will expand to 39 fighters. Tekken World Tour Finals 2026 Announced in Malmö, Sweden – Register Now on Official Site

During Evo 2025, Arslan Ash claimed the championship title. Following the event, Bandai Namco announced that the Tekken World Tour Finals for next year will take place in Malmö, Sweden, from January 29 to February 1, 2026.
