After a full-year hiatus, Multiversus is gearing up for its grand return, with Warner Bros Games aiming to attract both returning players and newcomers. This occasion marks the introduction of a new character set to debut on May 28th: the Joker, Batman’s arch-nemesis, who will be featured with his uniquely cartoonish traits. However, there is an additional surprise as actor Mark Hamill will voice the character, having previously portrayed him numerous times, most notably in the Batman Arkham series.
Joker thus joins the ranks of a brawler game aiming for mass appeal and accessibility, alongside characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Black Adam (DC), Sammy and Vera (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny, Taz (Looney Tunes), Marvin the Martian, Arya Stark (Game of Thrones), Tom & Jerry (Tom and Jerry), Finn the Human and Jake the Dog (Adventure Time), Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe), Iron Giant (The Iron Giant), LeBron James (Space Jam: New Era), Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith (Rick and Morty), Gizmo and Stripe (Gremlins), as well as an extraordinary original creature named Dancing Dog.
