Sony’s FlexStrike Wireless Arcade Stick Postponed Indefinitely Due to Production Issues

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a delay for its upcoming wireless arcade stick, the FlexStrike, originally scheduled to launch concurrently with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls for PS5 and PC. The FlexStrike’s release has been postponed indefinitely due to unexpected production issues. Sony shared this news on its official blog on July 14, 2026. The FlexStrike, initially expected on August 6, 2026, will not be available on that date. Sony stated that the company requires additional time to finalize the product and ensure an optimal player experience. Players who preordered the FlexStrike directly through direct.playstation.com will receive individualized updates regarding their orders. Customers who reserved the accessory through a third-party retailer should contact their respective reseller for more information. Sony has not yet provided a new release date but has committed to sharing an update once a confirmed launch schedule is available. Meanwhile, Sony confirmed that the Pulse Elite wireless desktop speakers remain on schedule for release later this year. However, pricing details for the speakers have not yet been announced.
