Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will continue its content expansion with six planned patches releasing in 2025 and 2026, bringing free gameplay additions to all players. The second year of content begins on September 4 with the Anniversary Update, the game’s largest patch to date. This update introduces the Techmarine, a new playable class. Year 2 will also feature four new operations, one new Siege map, and three new Eternal War arenas. Players can also look forward to new PvE Stratagems and a PvP game mode named Helbrute Onslaught. The expansion includes new enemies, bosses, weapons, and progression mechanics. Additionally, free unlockable weapon variants for existing weapons will be available, alongside the new maps and modes. Three new heroic armor pieces, inspired by the Ultramarines and Deathwatch, will be offered as rewards. New maps, Sanctum and Facility, designed for the Eternal War mode, will arrive in a future patch. PvE battles against Chaos forces will intensify with the introduction of the Terminator Sorcerer from Occult Scarab. A new Terminus-type enemy will also appear in all operations within Siege Mode during Year 2. Six new heroic weapon variants will be introduced: Melta Rifle Chainsword Sword.

Bolter Carbine with CombiFlamer Energy Fist with Meltagun Stalker Bolter Rifle in Deathwatch Colors Executioners Axe for Thunder Hammer Season Pass 2 owners will receive new cosmetic content. The Salamanders Champion Pack adds a full armor set for the Heavy class and an exclusive appearance for the MultiFuser. The Raptors Cosmetic Pack offers armor pieces inspired by the chapter specializing in reconnaissance and stealth strikes. Previously, Patch 10 introduced a playable Helbrute, three new weapons, a new PvE mission, fresh PvE Stratagems, and a brand-new PvP game mode. Patch 9 added the Siege game mode, where players face increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Season Pass 2 launched with Black Templars and Imperial Fists cosmetics. Throughout the year, it will expand to include items from the Salamanders, Iron Hands, Carcharodons, and Raptors chapters, among others. All cosmetic and Champion packs tied to the season pass can be purchased separately. The game runs on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Year 3 will launch in September, with new updates planned to continue evolving the game.
