Capcom has revealed Yasmine, the first character for Season 4 of Street Fighter 6, launching on August 3rd. Yasmine, hailing from the Philippines, brings her Eskrima expertise and wields a karambit, introducing new gameplay focused on speed and control. Her backstory centers on the mysterious disappearance of her older brother, an event that inspired her to seek answers through combat. Yasmine’s fighting style features a quick drive rush, a cancelable crouching medium kick, high mobility, strong mix-up potential, an effective anti-air fireball, and a level 2 install. Her special powered-up state is called Bayani Mode, where her special moves are enhanced. She can enter this mode without using her install, which results in a longer buff duration. The Season 4 update, featuring Yasmine’s arrival, is scheduled for August 3rd. This update will also include balance adjustments for all characters. Yasmine’s trailer, released by Capcom, introduces her as Street Fighter 6’s first Season 4 character. Yasmine utilizes several Eskrima techniques, including Daloy ng Tubig, Alon, Talim ng Hangin, Mukha ng Langit, Lipad ng Agila, Pangil sa Likuran, Hiwa ng Kalangitan, Nakatagong Lakas, and Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita. Her Level 2 Super Art allows her to concentrate energy for a temporary power-up, enabling her to use special moves while remaining in Bayani Mode. During this Super Art, she can execute a dash strike to attack opponents from behind with Linya ng Liwanag. Yasmine will be unlocked by maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or by using Fighter Coins. She is the first Season 4 character, with Arjun set to arrive later this year. Tifa Lockhart is slated for early 2027, and Bosch for Spring. Early community reactions suggest Yasmine is poised to become a highly popular addition, owing to her appealing demeanor, versatile style, and impressive vitality.
