This update introduces a concluding storyline quest, "Black Tides," which serves as the ultimate chapter for the adventures of protagonists Naoe and Yasuke. In "Black Tides," players will face off against the mysterious "Black Cross," a duo of formidable warriors who arrive in Japan to hunt the main characters. To access this quest, players must have completed the main story and all post-launch quests. The "Traque Sur Awaji" expansion is not required. The update also introduces "Domains," a new game mode featured in the "Like a Prayer for Domains" add-on. This mode is set during Canada's harsh winters, featuring limited visibility that increases its difficulty. "Domains" takes the form of combat arenas where player-created builds and unlocked equipment are paramount. Several exclusive rewards, including new skins, are available. Further enhancements include new events and unlockable costumes within the Animus hub.
